About
At the heart of the Palace Project is the belief that the library is the digital center of knowledge and creativity for their community. By creating a seamless, easy-to-use system including platform, content, and mobile app, The Palace Project lets libraries engage directly with patrons and improve, enhance, and expand the resources available to them.
The Palace Project is comprised of:
- The Palace Project App available on iOS and Android phones and tablets;
- The Palace Collection Manager backend software which allows for seamless integration of content collections from multiple vendors;
- Usage data, inventory reports, and holds reports;
- The Palace Bookshelf collection of open content and classics configured for all libraries configured in Palace;
- The Palace Marketplace, a nonprofit marketplace that offers content for sale with many unique and favorable licensing terms for libraries; and
- A Virtual Library Card option for libraries that are either unautomated or have an ILS that currently does not integrate with the Palace Collection Manager backend software.
