Vermont Humanities’ Fall Festival 2026: Our Woven History will recognize the hidden history contained in the Vermont Reads 2026 book, Charity and Sylvia by Tillie Walden, while also commemorating the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. Vermont Humanities is now accepting grant applications for programs related to the Fall Festival’s theme. They will offer five grants of up to $2,500 each for community organizations interested in hosting an event between September 15 and November 15, 2026, as part of the festival. Applications close on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
