The Palace Collection Manager allows libraries to control the display of their catalog and individual item records. This enables libraries to correct metadata sent from a vendor on an as-needed basis or even suppress a title from being displayed if it has publication problems or a copyright complaint.
Library staff with Administrator access can view and edit the following information for their own individual collections:
- Bibliographic information - librarians can edit title, subtitle, author and contributors, series, series order, format, language, publisher, publication, quality rating(1-5), and content summary/description.
- Classification - librarians can edit or add an audience, genre, sub-genre.
- Lists - librarians can quickly see what list the books are a part of, and add them to another list or remove them from a list.
Please note that metadata for titles in shared collections cannot be edited.
